Exam hall rules
- Only a black ink pen may be used on the answer script.
- Halls have proper seating, light and ventilation, arranged by the committee.

- Scripts are marked by teachers of another school or cluster.
Practical tips
- Visit the centre a day before to know the route.
- Arrive at least 30 minutes early.
- Mobile phones and calculators are not allowed in the hall.

The selected list and the waiting list are published together by DSHE, the district administration and school websites, and posted on each school's notice board.

Mutual transfer
Two students of the same class can swap schools with the consent of both schools, through the chair of the admission committee.
Death of a government employee
If a government employee dies in service, the child can be admitted to a government school where the family settles.
Change of residence
A government school student without parents, or who moves after a parent's death, can be admitted in the same class at a government school in the new area.

If a board-registered student is selected, the head teacher informs the education board to update the registration.
